Which week would you go?

We are deciding between Jan 1-6 or April 7-12. What are the pros and cons of each week. How about crowd level and weather. Any input is appreciated. Thanks

Crowds: Both times will be crowded, with the January dates a little less so than April

Rides: More rides will be down for refurbishment in January

Weather: Jan = somehwta chilly and rainy
April = starting to warm up a bit

It may depend on the new hotel cost structure in terms of which trip will cost less.

I just noticed on the WDW website that the week in April that we are looking at is one of the "Wonderful weeks of Disney" Should this impact my decision as far as crowds go?

April is generally busier, some schools are still out for Spring Break and or Easter which I believe is March 30th this year. I find that the weather is much nicer in April as a cold north wind in January can make it feel like 20 degrees even if the temp is in the 40's.
