It is a possiblilty that we could be headed that direction. What areas to live around Daytona and between Daytona and Orlando are good, and which should be avoided? Thanks.

I don't really have any recommendations (I've only lived in the Melbourne area when I lived in FL), but I just wanted to say that's really exciting news! :) Very cool.
Which city do you need to be closer to (if either)? Maybe that will help with advice.

Titusville isn't a bad little town. Its right on the coast, has the Kennedy Space Center, and 40 min from Disney or so!

New Smyrna Beach (just south of Daytona), is a beautiful community and much less touristy than Daytona. Also Seminole County, just north or Orlando, has some nice residential cities.

Port Orange is a nice town... it is south of Daytona Beach. Right along I-95.
Also, Deltona (MOST of Deltona anyways) is nice, including the Sanford area: close enough to Orlando to be near everything but still that small(er) town feel. Both towns are north of Orlando along the I-4 corridor.

Some friends of ours lived in Titusville for a while and enjoyed it. We stayed with them once on q quick trip to WDW while I was in law school.
If you're moving any time soon, we need to arrange a mini-meet somewhere, being that I'm close by on the NC side of the line. Hate to see you get that far away without at least meeting once.

I live about 20 minutes away from WDW.
The closer you live to Disney the higher the cost of a house/condo/townhose will be. some places are starting in the 200,'s here and higher.
So Good luck with the move and all.
