Yet another Jealousy Thread

Well it's time for you to be Jealous of me once again!

I just the news the my January Conference in Orlando has been officially approved :yay:

So what does this boil down to in WDW terminology

January 18th - 21st A studio at OKW Vaction Club Villas :vacation:
January 22nd - 25th Conference and Worshops until 3PM each day
January 25th -27th Pop Century
January 26th Pirate & Princess Party :pirate::princess:

It includes Hotel for the confernce and per diem for food :eat: and coverage on my ground transportation needs :car:
As well as being paid my regular Salary at the conference :D

This is how I get to go to my Music Educators Conference:

1. Ask principal for permission to use my two personal days for the year. (I lose $120 each day when I use a personal day)

2. Submit registration for conference (I pay $215, school pays $0)

3. Make hotel reservations (If I stay at the Broadmoor where the convention is held, the rooms are $195 per night. Since I would be there 3 nights, I stay at the Marriott down the street which is a mere $125/night.)

4. I even get to buy my own food!

Well, yes our school is rather generous (I work with JPL) when it comes to workshops and conferences. But, and this is a big but, we have A LOT of other frustrations to deal with that other schools don't. No union to help us, 4 buildings spread around town since we as a charter school don't get money for facilities, and a new mean and disrespectful superivsor to deal with. I guess this trip is your pay for dealing with all the junk that we do!
