Is pool hopping allowed? We are staying at the Movies Dec 7-14 and would like to go swimming at the Port Orleans French Quarter. The pool with the dragon slide looks really neat. :mickey:

Pool hopping is not allowed. Only DVC members are allowed to do it. Otherwise it is against Disney policy. Sorry. There was a thread posted about this a while ago. Maybe you can search for it. Have a great vacation.

No, they do not allow pool hopping. However, because you are staying at an All Star hotel, I believe you can use the pools at the other All Stars because the three of them are sister resorts.

With only a few exceptions, you play where you pay.

Exceptions to this:
DVC members are allowed to use most resort pools, however they do have some date restrictions and resort restrictions

Sister resorts share pools, ie the Yacht Club and Beach club share; POR and POFQ share; Allstar Movies, Allstar Sports and Allstar Music share

Pool maintenance issues where resort guests may be offered bus service to use another resorts pool facility

When our kids were younger we chose our resort based on the pool. :) It was that important to them.
But you cannot stay at ASMovies and swim in other resort pools.

So if the pool at PO-FQ is one you want to try- switch your reservations to PO-FQ or POR. :mickey:

Nope - as mentioned, no pool hopping. But there are several fun pools to choose from on the All-Star property. You would be allowed to use any of those.
