Late check out times?

Does anyone know if you can do a late check out? if so how do you go about doing this? at check in? and what is the latest you can check out?

The few times we asked, we were told to call Mousekeeping the evening or afternoon BEFORE and request a late check-out...we've been given 1pm at YC, PoP and POFQ...once we were told there were too many requests in our resort area and they couldn't accomodate us...but three outta four ain't bad.

We too have checked out late. 2:00pm one time! I think this is one of those..."Ask nice and depending on WHO you ask, It can be done.":thumbsup:

call afternoon before... it is on a first come first serve basis. until 1pm is free, 1-3 is 1/2 night charge, after 3 is full night charge.

EXACTLY! And it's exactly the same at all WDW owned-and-operated resorts.

We have gotten a 1 PM check-out.

Be aware: DVC resorts generally do not permit late check-outs. And they're pretty strict about it!
