What is being built near the CR?

Just got back from the WL and no one would say what was being done at the CR.

Does anyone know what the big cranes are for???

A replacement for the North Garden Wing of the hotel.

Likely to be a second tower.

They are building the "still yet to be official" tower that will be bigger than the A-Frame Contemporary Resort. Nobody knows the official designs of it yet, but all of the rumored plans have said that the new building will be taller than the current building. Which is probably the reason why they tall cranes out there.

we too were wondering. as we went by on the monorail, you could tell it was something quite big, a very large undertaking was going on. Good question, and thanks for the answers! :rocks:

Back in Feb, it was pretty cool to watch them tear down the old building. At the time, some CM's were saying that it was going to be a DVC area at CR. Have not heard anymore about it, but can not wait to see what comes of it.:thumbsup:

Oy, I haven't heard the one about it being bigger than the Contemporary. I have heard, other, things about it. Joinin the club though, it'll be worth the wait. :eat:
