My boss who lives in Celebration has a number of friends who work for WDW. One who is in the food service section told him that WDW is raising it's prices on food. The price increases are based on the season. If it is busy season, prices will go up, slow season down. This may not have taken effect yet.

I am not sure of the mechanics on this, but I would imagine different menus. Has anyone elso heard rumors or seen anything else like this? Just curious.

Makes sense... Again, supply and demand, and the penny pinching will continue.

Here (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showpost.php?p=1408144&postcount=2) is the information about this from the September 2007 Tidbits here on Intercot. Seems like it's only going to affect uber popular character meals, not every single place, and I don't think the prices will actually "go down" in low season (if there is such a thing anymore), they will just remain the original price, while the price will be raised at other, more popular, "holiday" type times of year.
