Recent Park Opening Procedures At The Mk

For anyone who has been to the MK recently can you tell me if they have been admitting people through the turnstiles before 9am or not? I know sometimes they will let people in early (8:30ish)so you can walk around main street and then the rest of the park opens at 9am.

On 10-2 they let us onto Main Street around 8:50 and the lands were all roped off until 9. The didn't have an opening ceremony (other than throwing pixie dust at the ropes to the lands) that day... I think it was because it was raining hard.

The only way you can get into the MK early is if you have an early ADR at Crystal Palace or the Castle, or if you have a tour reservation. Those people are let into the MK on the far right gate and are allowed to walk down Main Street and take photos (the stores are not open).

The other way is if they open the gates slightly before opening as the other poster described.
