Digital Camera [Archive] - INTERCOT Boards

I need help picking a 2nd digital camera. I already have the Canon Digital Rebel and LOVE it. I need on that would be small enough to keep in my bag for those shots that happen daily. The rebel is just to big to carry daily.

I want one with a great optical zoom and very LITTLE lag time between pushing the button and the actual photo being taken. Kids move fast!

We recently bought a Canon Powershot 7.1 and we love it. It's very slim and has the DIGIC III image processor which translates to very little lag time. We've been very happy with ours.

I know fugi makes a digital camera with very little delay

We've been really pleased with our Fujifilm Finexpix F30 camera. There is an extensive review of it on the Digital Photography Review web site.

I have the Canon Powershot S3 IS I really love this camera I can take great pictures with it. The camera also takes nice video if your intrested in that I filmed the Indiana Jones stunt show last time I was there and the wind was blowing at us and I was sure there was going to be wind picked up on the sound but there actually wasn't. You should be able to get a good deal on it now since they have the S5 IS I believe but I think S3 works great for me.
