Over the past ten years INTERCOT has collected an interesting array of supporting characters. From dolls to llamas, we’ve managed to harness most of the imaginary and animal kingdom as part of our online empire. We also blame JimmyC for much of this mayhem.

Your challenge, should you choose to accept it, is simple: photograph yourself with as many of the objects, animals or beings as possible. Everything on the list has played a part in the made-up history of INTERCOT. For those who are brave, search through “Which Doll (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=49427)” and its sequels (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=49428). Or some of our documented (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=48734) "history (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=48743)" (good clues in that second one). If you dare. Sheets will be available at the meet to help you along.

There will be two contests; one for those who attend the meet, one for those who stay. This is cross-posted in The Water Cooler for those not attending meet events.

1. For those attending the meet: All photos must be taken during the weekend of the meet (10/12 – 10/14) and must be taken in Florida.
2. For those who cannot attend the meet: All photos must be taken during the weekend of the meet (10/12 – 10/14). In your case, creativity counts. Photoshop does not.
3. When you are done, load your photos to the photo site of your choice (Flickr, Webshots) and email or PM to list to dpamac.

PRIZES: There will be three prizes:
1. One for the attendee who achieves the most goals. In the event of a tie, a panel of judges who were some of the very first members of INTERCOT will decide the winner based on the spirit of the photos matching ITNERCOT’s sense of humor.
2. One for the non-attendee who achieves the most goals in the most creative manner. In the event of a tie, the panel of judges will make the final decisions.
3. Finally, the panel of judges will select 10 of the most interesting photos and I will post them to the boards for voting. At the end of voting, the most popular photo will win a prize.

What are the prizes? Something off of this list. Hope that it is not the emu leg!

Deadline for submissions is 10/25.

Each of the items on the list below is part of the INTERCOT lore. These are your objectives:

I assure you, nothing was forgotten. Years of therapy have proven that's impossible.

Oh, the humanity ...

Yeah, considered putting it on the list, realized I'd be a target.

And here I was thinking that y'all had grown sour and complacent in your old age!! Wish I didn't have to work then!!

Jasper, you were around for the whole evolution of this. I hope you can at least try to participate in the virtual version. Surely you can find a llama in Indiana.

How about I find a groundhog and dress it up as a Llama?

I will most definately check in as time allows. This is the busy time of year for my wife's costume store so I am sure she will have the old ball and chain attached to me!!

It's hard to believe that I am one of the "old timers" around here!!:thumbsup: I do have to say that it has been tons of fun!!!!

Scary how old we are. We're like dirt.

So.. I know where to find a llama and does a picture of myself count as an originator of the Doll lore?

Oy! Where am I going to find a Marmoset?

I'm really hoping that everyone can have a lot of fun with this. Virtual or otherwise.

I mean, really, what it boils down to is that INTERCOT is filled with a bunch of goofballs who really enjoy being goofy.

If Caddyshack were a website . . .

Haven't you noticed that most of those "engineers" are about 18" tall and wear sparkly uniforms?

I found this guy waiting outside my house for me this morning ... Not sure what he wanted ...

He shouted something that sounded like, "Long live the paisley mountain goats!", fired some Silly String at me, and took off into the woods ...

So, can I hide a picture of myself on the internet then drop clues of where to find it, for those who can't be there in person - like me?

Wow! He sure gets around! That's my little friend, Pee Wee...he's actually been missing for three days now... not quite sure why he'd show up at your house... but most likly what he shouted was "long live the Macy Fountain Ghosts"... yep.. he is most likely trying to get to NYC to see Macys... and oh, you still have some silly string hanging off your ears...

Does a finger across the lens count as "me" in a photo? Don't you have to be very flexible to do some of this?? This sounds like work, I'm weary just reading it and confused even though I'm familiar w/ the thread. Can we have teams  ?

This little guy was on the train carrying an Intercot Meet or bust sign :eyes:

When the conductor asked for a ticket he showed his JimmyC Fan Club Membership Card :shakehead: And was given a nod from the the glitter trailing conductor and was on his way.

All along he was humming a strangely haunting yet familiar tune while sipping his Cotton Candy flavored Latte

That just reminded me, our captain and leader of the madness, JimmyC is missing the meet by two days! If only he could be there on the 12th for the assault on IASW.

So, that means you are not confused now ??? Congratulations of being one of the few that have survived without having to undergo shock therapy. I am on my 205th session of treatment and am beginning to enjoy it. I can't explain the "twitch" that now is my constant friend.
