Putting atmosphere aside, which FOOD do you like better-- Prime Time 50's Cafe or Sci Fi Drive In? (Again, just your food preference and not the atmosphere.)

50's Prime Time Cafe without a doubt. The food at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater is pretty bad except for the milkshakes and desserts.

50s, didn't even have to think about it.

Prime time for me! I'm a big fan of old fashioned home cooking comfort food. Honestly. My mom used to make all the different kinds of things on the menu and I loved it. My kids loved it too. My husband, well, he thought it was just all right. (maybe he couldn't enjoy the food as much as us, he was the target of Aunties attention!!)
Sci fi was just OK. None of us have ever thought about going back again.

Going with the majority here - 50s Prime Time for food definitely. Not that it's overly impressive, but it's better than Sci-Fi, IMO.

We were not impressed with the food at Sci-Fi. Nothing out of the ordinary - just basic everyday food.

I know that I am in the minority here -- but 50's PT never fails to disappoint us. I prefer the Sci-Fi -- even if it is for a burger and rings.

I actually like them both. Overall I like 50's better, but I don't think the food is bad at Sci-Fi.

Before we had kids, 50's was our fave to eat:they had (at the time, menu's change!) a terrfic chicken pot pie, fried chicken and pot roast.

OK...you guys confirmed my decision...thanks!

At the end of October, I am taking 2 friends to MGM that have never eaten at any Disney sit down restaurants. This will be their first. They narrowed it down to Sci-Fi or PT 50's. I knew that they would probably like the atomosphere better at Sci-Fi, but IMHO, I like the food much better at PT 50's. For first sit down meal, I figured taste of food should trump atmosphere.:mickey:

Another vote for 50's.... though if you really wanna experience Sci Fi you can always pop in for a drink and a bowl of the BLT Soup - THAT was pretty good!

Never eaten at Sci Fi, but going on food selections 50's PTC hands down. And yes, I've eaten at 50's PTC and I love it!

50's can do a lot better.....we did not care for it at all......if I had to choose one of the above....I'd opt out and eat a turkey leg instead.....

It's just got peanut butter and jelly in it. It didn't sound too good, but when I made my ADR last year the guy said you have to try it!! I didn't see it on the menu, so I asked about it and they do have it. It's DELICIOUS!!!!:tasty: I made an ADR for this year mainly to get that again:secret:

Primetime handsdown. You get food that tastes like homecooked. After eating fast food throughout several days, it was manna from Heaven!:cloud9:

Definitely 50s Primetime! My daughter had a steak at Sci Fi that truly was not edible. It was the toughest piece of meat I ever saw, and the lady across from us sent hers back three times and never got a better one. We did not like Sci Fi at all.
