I look at that and say yes to all but maybe the uncontrolled sobbing ;) But then I remember that exactly a month from today I leave to WDW for a week!!! Which is awesome! So the symptoms I am now experiencing will be the ones you are while Fan and I are having our own party in the World!

Hmmm... funny... I'm experiencing this jittery excitement and complete sense of euphoria just thinking about it.

Talked to my grandmother the other day. Now, I'm usually a bit OCD when it comes to packing for my WDW trips, but she has completely outdone me: She's already packed. She wanted to see if all of her stuff would fit in her carry-on and just decided to keep it all there. She even has little travel size cosmetics and toothpaste already packed for the trip. She wants to know what I'm packing and I'm just like, "uh... clothes...?"

And I thought no one could be more excited than me... Guess I was wrong.

lol that sounds like my friend. Everytime I tell her I'm going on vacation she always asks me at least 2 weeks before I leave if I have started packing yet. I say nope she is always surprised I guess she would start weeks before. I on the other hand never pack until the night before I leave or less usually grabbing that last thing as im walking out the door :D

This really hurts. You know the felling..when you know someone going down for just a regular trip…but this one really hurts. I hope you guys have fun down there! I know you will. I wish so much that we could of gone. DS is loving football so far so I guess it was worth it this year. Check out his blog!

Speaking of last minute packing stories: Last trip to WDW with JP.. he was panicking about his laundry (he sends it out) not making it home on time for his flight. What is a guy supposed to do without his socks and underoos? I wanted to take a clothes pin to WDW, and attach a sign to his back that read "Ask him if he got his laundry".

If I was going.. a suitcase would be packed.. I can't wear those summer clothes here this time of year. I always throw a suitcase on my bedroom floor (2 weeks before I go) and add things to it as I think of them. By the time I leave I have to take half of it back out. :blush:

Uh oh I feel this might be somehow my fault. You see I might have turned off the uh pumpkins in his room that where keeping the evil voices and boots away. I never would have thought they would have been so powerful that it would effect what he said here.

Been at Kennedy Space Center. My 2nd favorite place on earth. Going to be a launch of a satelite tonite and got to finally see the shuttle up close on the launch pad (3 times in 20 years it was either gone because of Challenger accident or wasn't out). :)

BTW, why wasn't I warned about Primeval Whirl. DH says oh lets go on this after Dinosaur no problem. He can't do teacups because of the spinning. We were there for after hours at AK. Boy that was an experience. :sick:

Princess has nearly been in tears twice the past few days thinking about what we are missing. She keeps saying, "But Intercot will never have a 10-year reunion again!" Such a mature 8-year-old....so wise and sweet.

Hey All,

I just heard a from Cat she said they are exhausted got back at 11:30. Brerfan, Queenthump and Nachocat all made it in! Their boat boat was a success! And they start back up at 8:15 in the morning again! Most of them are also going to the Halloween Party tomorrow night. Lets all hope Jp can keep himself calm and not push his way to the front of all the trick or treat lines :D

Cat just called and they are enjoying a nice lunch at Le Cellier at this moment. They let me go as were being called in. I spoke with the two Cats, JP, BrerFan. Everyone had a blast at the MNSSHP last night. From what I can tell the CMs handing out candy knows JP on a first name basis now! LOL You guys…I could hear background noise live from EPCOT :(. Thanks for the Call Cat!! :thumbsup: Glad you guys are having blast together!!

One certain person who I'm not speaking to said we have to ride it at night. I said I don't want to get wet. The other certain who I blamed more said hey, they won't have those on at night. No problem! The row, row method past them didn't work, we tried. :mad:

Only good news is the whole log got what seemed like a whole pail of water dumped on our heads so I wasn't the only drowned rat.

BTW, after spending half a day at Orlando Airport trying to get out, I finally made it home about a half hour ago. The other guard cat is on her way home tomorrow!

Okay, an early start as we prepared to leave DS(12) and DD(8) with the Grandparents for the weekend. We dropped the kids off at school with no "warm & fuzzy" goodbyes from them. It seems they weren't thrilled with us going to WDW without them. We returned home and continued packing them before we could finish preparing ourselves.
We had a 1:00 p.m. flight out so we needed to be at the airport by 11:00 a.m. Seems we couldn't wait...we were checked in by 10:15.:blush: Following a nice two-hour direct flight, we were on the ground in Orlando. We used Magical Express :bus: for ground transport to Pop Century(our first stay at a value). Check-in was short and easy and we were staying in building 10 right next to the food court. We located our room, and dropped our carry-on items off. Next stop was DTD...:eat::shop::dance:

We arrived at DTD by bus at 5:30. We had an ADR at Fulton's for 8:00, but we hadn't eaten since breakfast so we needed a snack. We stopped at Wolfgang Puck's Express and had drinks and quesadillas. We then started planning our night. We knew JP and the Cats had an ADR at Fultons an hour ahead of us. We thought maybe we could hang out at the boat and meet them before they went in and then find them again after our dinner. We had a nice walk through the shops and made our way to the boat. We arrived shortly after 6:30 and there was no sign of them yet.(we knew what JP and Chescat looked like) Queen asked me if I thought they would come from the opposite direction (Pleasure Island) so I got up to walk around to see. As I came back around, JP, Chescat, and Chescat's DH were approaching where I had left Queen. As we were all meeting :hug: Nachocat and her DH also approached. They had been waiting right behind us and we didn't know it was them. :blush:
At this point Queen & I were going to go shop and let the others get to their dinner. Chescat thought we should see if we could simply join their party for the earlier ADR and cancel ours. (Smart Cat!) We boarded "boat boat" as a party of seven and were led to our table upstairs. Dinner was awesome. The food and the company. We didn't see Nachocat's DH after the first night, but he was an entertaining gentleman. The highlights of dinner...JP's birthday banana creme pie and his bib. ;) Queen had salmon with almond butter, roasted redskin potatoes, and grilled asparagus. I had the filet with grilled scallops and sugar snap peas. Outstanding! Queen and I shared a huge piece of chocolate cake for dessert.
After dinner we left the boat together. I don't think we exited where we were supposed to...but they wanted us out.:)
We took a few group photos in front of Fulton's and then headed to World of Disney.
We lost each other more than a few times in the store, bought a few trinkets, then met up outside. On our way to the check out some pins, we ran into a group of Intercot staff members and got our first name tags for the meets. Next stop was the Pin Station. We loaded up on a few LE & AP pins and were done shopping for the night.
Chescat and DH gave JP, Queen, & myself a ride back to Pop for the night. JP was staying in building 9(?) right behind ours. We made our plans for the morning and headed off to rest.

I guess I'll fill in the spaces between food and the boat boat.

Ray & I went through the gates of MGM about 9:05 (we didn't make rope trip like JP did). We meet up with a breakfast toting JP. We then did Great Movie Ride. During the day we did Tower of Terror twice, went through that Walt museum (can't remember the name). Ran into Imagineers in there discussing what displays were going to be updated. We went to the Car show that I really liked since I like those little cars (I really want one). Did a lot of lanyard searching. We were hoping to meet up with Ladyvader, but we needed to leave to get to Boat Boat on time.

We then hit two outlet malls which had some great stuff. Then we went to Boat Boat. It was funny that JP was the only one they put a bib on for dinner. We also embarrassed him by telling the waiter that it was his birthday. I liked how they wrote on the plate. :D

Alas, I did not get to ride Everest with Cat, only JP, Brerfan, and Queen made it when I went. Everest is such a quiet little nap kind of ride, why would we scream? (especially since we only got the shadow of the Yeti on our ride) And the front row is the best!!

The one in the middle is Jeanne (Lpiglet) on Intercot. (I might be missing the rest of her title :blush: )

Ray & I rode Everest on Tuesday first thing. Was going to meet JP and other Intercot people on Sunday morning to ride it. But we were told the ride was stuck as you go up and they had to take people off. Then it broke down again. So we said we'll wait until Tuesday. When we got on it, it was a shadow of yeti when you finished the backup. Then when we wrote down the animation tried to grab us. I'm not sure what's A and B of those things. :confused:

Thanks for all of the trip reports and pictures. It is great to be able to see some of the people I have met on here. Sure wish we could have went, I would have enjoyed meeting all of you in person. It sounds like everyone had such a fun time. I hope there is another meet in the future and that we will be able to attend. :mickey:

The shadow projection is always part of the ride.

When the Yei figure is functioning properly with full movement that is the A show as it was meant to be seen. That's what you and Ray got. When they are having problems with the Yeti and he isn't moving they flash some funky strobe lights on him so he appears to be moving but doesn't reach out. This is the dreaded B show which Jan and I experienced.

Now you know what I look like you can come on down and be able to find me a lot easier. :D
Hopefully when the next I-cot/VMK meet occurs I'll have the right days off, and be able to go and play in the parks.
since starting over at the Stitch complex I've been starting work at 6am. And I think I was trying with difficult not to yawn. So David/WDWfanatic742 don't forget to come looking for me at Stitch complex. Oh that includes Astro and TTA also.
