Hi all just booked the WL for 9 nights in Feb:cloud9:. We also booked the meal plan:confused:? Could somebody please explain how the meal plan works? Are you allowed to eat at sit town table service restaurants for breakfast, lunch and din? Or are you limited to what you can eat?
Thanks.

You get 1 snack, 1 counter service and 1 table service per person per day. You can use your table service for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The dining plan is really great and convenient - we've used it the past three years and love it. Enjoy! I would suggest making reservations for all table services now as they fill up quickly and you can make reservations 180 days in advance. That's the downside of the dining plan - you have to have reservations.

In 2008, there have been changes to the dining plan, so it also depends what plan you're on:

- the "regular" dining plan is 1 counter service, 1 table service and 1 snack a day

- the "deluxe" dining plan is 3 meals (counter or table service) and 2 snacks a day

In the deluxe plan, you could choose to eat 3 sit-down meals a day (but that would be a LOT of food), in the regular plan, you have to have a mix of counter-service and table-service.

I agree 100% with the post above...you have to make ADR's, or you'll have a hard time using your TS's at places you want!

Go under INFO CENTRAL on this site. Under the topic of Dining...you'll find a good explanation of how the dining plan works.

Yes, make your reservations now. 1-407-WDW-DINE.

Before you do that, figure out what park you will be at for what day. Because...if you do not get Park Hopper, then you can only go to 1 park per day.

I am not sure if you are an AP holder or not. If so, then you know you can go to all parks in one day.

1) Yes, you can use Table Service coupons for any meal.
2) However, if you paid for DDP, it is usually a bad choice for other than dinners.
3) Financially, you do not get your TS money value from
. . . any breakfast
. . . any character meal
. . . most lunches
. . . many dinners
. . . some dinner shows *
4) Plan ahead for best value.
5) Use TS coupons for meals worth $25-$28, minimum per adult.
6) Any value less PER COUPON, loses money.
7) As an example, 2007 adult value per coupon is approx
. . . $3.50 per snack
. . . $11.50 per CS (quick service, counter service)
. . . $25.00 per TS (table service)

* Some dinner shows are monetarily not worth using two coupons. Seating locations at other shows using coupons may not be worth it to the guest.
