Hey everyone - it's me again.. can you tell I've never been to Disneyland? :D Ok, we are gonna have the dinner with Ariel on the Friday night we are there.. I've seen the menu and know that you get your choice.. so my question to all who have been there - what do you suggest? I"m thinking of the salad, then either the meatloaf or the fish and chips... is the meatloaf good? I've had some meatloafs that are overly seasoned and others that are extremely bland.. Are the fish and chips greasy? And which dessert is the best? I'm thinking of the cinnamon apple one... thanks again!

If you are talking about Ariel's Grotto, :ack:. The meatloaf gave me the worst heartburn of anything I have ever eaten in my life and the fish was totally greasy and over fried. I have only been there 2x and that's my limit (some of us will do anything for a friend's 4 year old daughter!). I say go for the kid's menu chicken nuggets.

I love eatting at that place. In fact the Snow White that is there on Sat. is my friend that I meet there. If you look at my avatar that's her. Anyways. I always go for the salad and I go for ether the fish and chips or there samon. I've had there Apple dessert but that was ok. I go for there Chocolate cake the most. I've been eatting there about 12 times now. The only other then I don't care to much of is there rolls. There to hard to eat at times. I don't fine there fish greasy at all. But with the characters there it's really nice. U do get to meet 5 characters there. Beside Snow White and Ariel u get to meet. Cinderella (at times.),Belle & Aurora. Sometimes if Cinderella is not there Mulan,Jasmine or Princess Minnie takes her spot. Here is some pictures with me and the Princess at Ariel's Grotto.

U get to take pictures with Ariel when you come down the stairs. And if you want to buy them u get a 8x10 photo & 4 4x6 photos for about $32.00

We had lunch there just last week and found it exceeded our expectations. Both of us had the salad and the fish and chips. I did not find the fish greasy at all, and it wasn't too fishy-tasting, either. I had the cinnamon apple dessert and really liked it - not too sweet, although the apples could have been cooked just a bit more for my taste. Mom had the fruit dessert which she liked as well.

I also enjoyed the setup regarding the princesses - after taking a picture with Ariel when you enter the downstairs area, you are seated at your table. Not long after that, the "prince" introduces each princess to the room, about one every 5 - 10 minutes or so. The princesses make an orderly circuit of the room, so there's no guessing game as to "am I actually going to see them?" At our lunch, we had (in order) Cinderella, Belle, Snow White and Aurora.

Enjoy your dinner!

My gang runs the gammit from the menu, so we have fish, pasta and salads and everything has been great. Genie is so correct the princesses are all around and you'll have a great time.:tink:
