A former co-worker of mine's brother has gone missing in Iran. She has forwarded me the email below. Please read, forward along and if there's any way you can help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Hello friends and family.

We again ask for your help in bringing our father, Bob Levinson, home to us and this may be the most important request of them all.

We would like you and anyone you know to send e-mails every day this week, beginning Monday if possible, to the members of the United Nations General Assembly. The big UN opening session begins Tuesday in NY and we want to push delegates to ask the Iranian Ambassador and Iranian President - who will be at the UN with other world leaders - about our father. We hope this added pressure on the Iranians will cause them to provide the answers we desperately need about Bob.

Here are the directions:

Please copy and paste the message below into the body of your e-mail. The message is in black font. There is a section in the message for you to insert a personal comment. If you choose not to insert a comment, please make sure that you delete the phrase "Insert Personal Message Here."

Below the message, we have listed all of the known e-mail addresses of the members of the General Assembly. The addresses are in red font. Please copy and paste the addresses into your BCC box. Depending on your e-mail provider, you may need to send the e-mail to groups instead of one e-mail to all (Examples: Hotmail will only allow you to send a message to 50 recipients at at time. Therefore, you will need to send 5 e-mails to accomplish our goal. With Gmail, you can copy and paste all e-mail addresses into one single e-mail.)

If possible, we would like for everyone to do this once a day while the members are meeting. This means that you would be sending daily e-mails Monday through Friday of this week. We also ask that you please send this on to anyone who would be willing to help us out with this campaign. We are hoping for thousands of e-mails to be sent on our father's behalf.

We will never be able to thank you enough for your help, support and prayers. We know that all of the public and private efforts of our family and friends are making a difference. This is truly the Levinson Family's time of need and we are getting through this because of you. Thank you so, so much.

Sincerely,
Randy, Stephanie and Ryan Curry and the Levinson Family

Delegates to the Sixty-Second Session of the General Assembly,

On March 8, 2007, United States citizen, Robert (Bob) Levinson, disappeared on Kish Island, a resort island in the Islamic Republic of Iran, while on private business.

For the past six months, we, his family and friends, have lived a nightmare of worry, fear, frustration and, most of all, heartache. We ask, with the utmost respect, that you help us to end this nightmare as soon as possible.

Please help us find Bob Levinson by reaching out to Iran during the UN General Assembly.

Below are the details we have confirmed regarding his disappearance.

- We know Bob flew to Kish Island, Iran, on Kish Air flight Y97141, which took off from Dubai at 10:45 am on March 8, 2007.
- We know Bob checked into the Maryam Hotel upon his arrival to Kish.
- We know that Bob’s passport has not appeared in any other country since he went missing on March 8th.

Bob did not leave Iran and we have confidence that the Iranian Government has the power to find him and send him home. Please help make this happen by reaching out to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran and Ambassador Khazaee, Iran’s Permanent Representative at the UN, during your meetings and discussions at the General Assembly.

For more information about Bob Levinson's situation, please visit www.helpboblevinson.com.

[Insert personal message here.]

Bob Levinson is a beloved husband of 33 years, a proud father of seven children and a recent grandfather. His calm and friendly demea nor, positive attitude, and warming smile have been missed by everyone who knows him. Please help bring him home to where he belongs and is needed.

Thank you for helping us in our time of need.
