We just came back from Disney Saturday and had an interesting discussion with a cast member who worked at the Villians Boutique at DTD.
I had asked about the store on the board not long ago and was warned it was nothing like it was in the past. You SAID it. ONE shelf that had two shirts, couple of purses, an apron, stuffed Maleficent, some cups, some pins. That's all.
My sister and I were in the store, she with her Maleficent shirt and myself with my Disney Divas shirt (Mali, Wicked Queen, Ursula, Cruella, and Queen of Hearts). The cast member (who's name I can remember...SWEETHEART of a lady) noticed our shirts and walked over to us. She expressed disgust in how the store has pushed aside the Villian merchandise and asked us to please complain about it. According to her, the small bit of merch they had was the result of fans demanding it.
(That being said, my sister got several offers for the shirt she was wearing.)
Let Disney know we want our Villians!
