We are planning on getting a 2-bedroom suite at the Contemporary. Can you have separate accounts for each room key where charges will go or are they still lumped together for the entire group in the suite?

I've heard the system is capable of allowing seperate charge cards on seperate room keys. The CMs will tell you otherwise however. I can't say if it's just not known by the CMs or they just don't like to do it.

1) ANY room can have separate accounts for separate keys.
2) In this manner, each key links to a different credit card.
3) Regardless of what the CM says, it is done EVERY DAY.
4) The CM might have to get the manual if they don't do it a lot
5) The process is known as "SHARE".
6) Ask for it by this exact name.
7) It takes a couple more minutes a check-in.
8) But, does not take a long time.
9) Everyone in the room could have their own credit card.

EXAMPLE: Mother and Daughter in same room
. . . mom has the room ressie
. . . they ask that the daughter is a "SHARE"
. . . mom checks-in, using credit card #1
. . . they basically make a dummy-virtual ressie for the same room
. . . daughter can now "check-in" using credit card #2
. . . now, they each have their own charges
. . . they can even split the room rate to each card
. . . each room key charge goes to a different credit card
. . . their is one small glitch
. . . all phone & room service bills go to first check-in person
. . . just no way to determine who made the phone call

EDIT: If the Front Desk person objects, ask for a Guest Service Manager, and insist.
