Request at WL

Since I am taking my daughters alone to WDW, I am wanting to ask to be sure we have a room that is close to lobby.. or mainstream of people(for safety reasons)..... Are all the rooms at WL that way, or are there some rooms that would be isolated than others??? since they do not take fax requests, do I mail this in?? We have a woods view room, if that makes any difference.... thanks.

since they do not take fax requests, do I mail this in??The WL setup sort of looks like a U, so there are rooms at the end of the wings, further from the lobby. Requests are actually pretty easy, just call CRO or your travel agent and you can add a "close to the lobby" request to your reservation. About 3-5 days prior to your arrival, the WL will receive your reservation and the request will be on there. That's why many resorts no longer look at faxes, because they should already be on the reservation and a fax adds extra work for them.

When you arrive at the resort, just re-iterate your request to the check-in CM.
