1st Week Of January

DW and I are planning to go to WDW on 12/31/08 and stay for the week after New Year. I know how insane it is at WDW from Christmas to New Year. How fast do the crowds drop off after New Years Day?

Crowds are still pretty big the first day or two, but then drop off reasonably quick through the week.

I don't mean to be the bearer of bad news or anything but we were there last year dueing the first week of Jan and we kept waiting for the holiday crowds to drop off but they didn't. It was mobbed all week. The marathon may have had something to do with that so maybe it was just a fluke. :mickey:

You may find that the crowd levels stay quite high this year. I've heard quite a few schools will be cloased through the 6th.
