Backlot Express or ABC Commissary at Studios

We are trying to decide between Backlot Express or ABC Commissary for lunch at Disney Studios? It will be just 2 adults, so picky kids are not an issue on this trip.

Let me know what you like or dislike about both.

My vote is for backlot express. The veggie sandwich was really good!

My vote is anywhere EXCEPT the Commissary. My two worst meals at WDW are both at the Commissary. We thought maybe we just got unlucky and gave it another shot. Bad idea.

Backlot is pretty good and there is plenty of seating.

anything but abc is right. our worst meal ever has been at the abc commissary eat anywhere but. backlot is good i agree esp the veggie sandwich::::mickey:

I can't help but agree with the Backlot Express. We've given the ABC Commissary a second and third try for lunch but tend to walk away disappointed.

I didn't see a veggie sandwich on the Backlot Express menu in Info Central. Is that something new?

I'm interested because my DD is a vegetarian and that would be a great CS option for her. I also happen to love grilled veggie sandwiches!:thumbsup:

Interesting. I actually enjoyed the Cuban Sandwich the one and only time I ate at the Commissary. I was going to suggest it despite having never been at Backlot Express. Looks like I have a new place to try.

I have tried both but thought they were both decent counter service. One no better than the other. But I usually just do cheeseburgers and one is the same as the other to me.
