Crowd on opening day of F&W Festival?

Hi everyone!

We will be in the World during the week of the F&W opening on the 28th.
Has anyone been on the first day and willing to predict how crowded it will be?

I really want DD (9) to see the American pavillion and the opening of the National Treasures items ( she can get extra credit at school).

since the opening falls on a Fri, I would expect alot of locals after 6pm- anyone want to give their opinion?

When we were there a couple of years back, there was quite a lot of crowding around the individual kiosks serving food. Attractions, and Epcot in general, did not seem to be overly impacted to the event.
