It is hard to believe all of the work that still needs to be done after 2 years. Our church continues to send mission teams down to the gulf coast to help with recovery. I am proud to say that I will be a part of one of these teams in November. Continued prayers for the people struggling to rebuild.

Thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Gulf region...it's heart wrenching seeing the live feeds on all the news casts.. seeing that some areas look just as bad as they did in the immediate days following Katrina...

Thanks. We were lucky. It only took a few days to clear away debris and a week to get power back after Katrina. My aunt and uncle lost their home, but have rebuilt. Some folks still have little or nothing two years later.
P.S. To escape from Katrina, we went WDW and stayed at AS. That is the only trip to Disney that I wish I had not made.
