I know you can upgrade tickets you buy through a package.
Also that the tickets you get are actually encoded on your room key.
What about if you upgrade to a nonexpire ticket and dont use all your days, do you get a tickets when you check out with whatever is left over?

Also, can we use a leftover ticket that we have from a past trip and apply it to the upgrade?
How do they figure out what the ticket is worth?

Your leftover days will be on your room key, and you save that for the next time.

Previously used tickets can only be added to/upgraded within 14 days of first use. After that, the remaining entitlements can still be used (if the no expiration feature had been purchased) but they can't be modified or added to in any way. This 14 day deadline even applies to non-expiring tickets. The unused park admissions never expire, but your right to change/add to those tickets still expires after 14 days from first use.

Generally speaking, paying for the no expiration feature is a terrible financial deal unless the leftover days will fully cover your park admissions for one or more future trips. If you'll have to buy even 1 or 2 more days to add to the left-over unexpired days, it's cheaper to buy separate tickets for each trip. I'd be happy to spell out the math and money for you if you want. Not that you asked ....:mickey:
