Do we have to bring our own towels to Blizzard Beach?

You can rent towels there. I'm not sure how much they are. We always bring our own beach towels though.

I always bring towels from the hotel, or our own beach towels, but I do remember renting them for $2 when we went on 2004.:mickey:

Is there any pattern to which days are good or bad to visit BB or TL? Would prefer to miss the crowds... Visiting in September 2007. Do many locals visit on the weekends? Expect they will be in school on the weekdays.

Thanks,
Tom

Are the rental towels at the the waterparks larger than the towels in the resorts -- in other words are they beach towel size?

We just bring a few room towels with us. Mousekeeping will give you pretty much as many towels as you ask for. When we head for the water parks we just ask a mousekeeper for some towels. :mickey:

I believe they are the same size as the ones in the rooms.

When we went last week, Friday at Blizzard Beach was packed. Saturday at Typhoon Lagoon didn't seem as bad but we heard that the park closed at around 3pm because the park was full. I'd think that when school starts in the state next week, during the week it shouldn't be too bad. The weekend is probably always crowded at both parks.
