changing to special rate

If I book a room today at rack prices and later a room-only discount is announced can I switch my reservation to the new price? Do I have to cancel the original reservation and rebook?

I recommend going through Magical Journey's if you aren't already. They are fantastic! They will automatically apply any discounts that are applicable and are usually the first ones to do it! :cheer:

If you book over the phone directly through Disney it's quite simple. Just call, give them your confirmation number, tell them you want to apply this new discount, provide the code, and if it's available they should change it for you, very easy.

Why would you ever book a room only at rack rate though? You don't have AAA?
