I am thinking about going during these dates for a quick family trip to experience the Polynesian.

Can anyone tell me if there are any big events going on at WDW during this time?....

Weather?

Crowds?

Well...October 12-14 is the Intercot 10th Anniversary party. So, if you come down a few days earlier, you can meet ME and a bunch of other people from the boards.

Anywho...Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is happening during various nights at the Magic Kingdom that week and over at Epcot, it's the International Food & Wine Festival.

Weather should be very nice...unless a hurricane happens to make its way towards Central Florida. That doesn't happen too often though, and I'm not especially worried about it.

It seems like a really nice time to visit and I'm looking forward to it. You should have a great time.
