How old were you when you first visited Disney World (even if you were too young to remember your first visit? If you haven't been, how old will you be when you do visit for the first time?

This is the second of a two part question. In case you missed part 1, here's a link:
Year of 100 Questions #100, part 1 (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=111631)

We were both 27 years old on April 26, 1998 when my wife and I took our first trip to WDW, and we were married for one full day. I still feel it was the best vacation in my entire life, though I look forward to brining my two DD's there next year, and hope that the trip can be equally filled with magic!

Wow! Can it be that the Year of 100 Questions is actually over? In a way, I'm relieved that it is done before I go away on vacation to Maine next week. I plan on being away from the computer for a few days, and would have been wondering what I missed. On the other hand, I have to admit, during this busy summer, it was this continuing thread that kept me coming back to Intercot and posting each day. Sure I usually check it out anyway, but I tend to post in spurts. I wasn't doing much posting other than YoOHQ!

Thank you King Triton, :prince:for doing it, and if you start another new thing, wait until I get back! :notworth:

I was there the year the park opened. I don't remember it, but I know I was there. I was just 1 at the time. I got my head stuck in the railing at HM.

Oops, I think I said it in part 1. I was twelve. A very impressionable, overwhelmed by the magic of it all, age twelve.

I was 10 and my brother was 7. My dad refused to take us much before that because he refused to push a stroller in the park...so we had to wait until we were old enough to walk the parks ourselves. When I was young I thought that was crazy but now that I am an adult...he thinking is not soo bad...so DH and I will go this trip in Sept...then it will be the last one until we have kids that are old enough to walk on their own for the whole day (so I guess that leaves us about 10 yrs since we do not have kids yet)

As I mentioned in my post in part 1, I was 14. I still remember that trip vividly and it sparked a love of Disney that still continues! One of the best memories was my Dad wearing my little brother's Batman backpack and walking extremely fast down Main Street to get to that castle and all that fun!

I was 6 years old.

I can't believe the Year of 100 Questions has to come to an end... it's so sad! The questions were a lot of fun and I liked seeing what everybody else voted for. Thank you for starting it!

Thank you so much for doing these polls. I have enjoyed them very much. It has been wonderful to see how different we all are, but yet the same in our love for Disney.

I was less than a year, but my sister was still in the womb, lucky her she got a head start on everyone by hitting the MK (the only WDW park back then) about 6-7 months into my Mom's pregnancy.
I will miss these YOAMQ's  !

:thanks: King Triton !

:nudge: :nudge: , anyone else come up with any ideas for the next line of questions :wait:

I mentioned it in part 1, I was 11...and my parents wouldn't let me ride Space Mountain. took my NINETEEN YEARS to ride it (just this past January!)

Here we go again...

I was 37 and my youngest DD was 6 years old for our first trip. My oldest DD did not get to go with us that year.... she came with us in 2004 and she was 24 for her first trip.

I was 8 years old . . . and it was 1984! My favourite picture is of me holding hands with Goofy . . . staring up at him in absolute awe! :D
I remember watching the parade at MK and waving to Mickey and Minnie on a float, as well as waving at Cinderella in her silvery blue pumpkin carriage! :cloud9:

I was 18 when I went for the first time. My parents could never afford to take us to Disney, so all my life I lived vicariously through my best friend who went every couple of years or so. When I was 18 my church youth group went for a summer trip. It was a really nice memory as my best friend was on the trip with me. In '95 I went with my parents for a couple of days. My next trip was in '01 on my honeymoon. DH and I have been every year since then except for one. We're hooked and we'll be going to The World for a long time to come.

126 more days!!

16 and went on some one else's dine - won a trip selling newspapers. Got my photo in the hometown paper with Donald Duck at the begining of Main Street.:mickey:.
Wanted to go back the following year but the trip was not offered. Something about a trip to Montreal to visit the Olympic site. Yea that was fun, but no subsitute. On the bright side in 77 and 78 I won the trip again. The last time we stayed at the Golf Resort (now Shades of Green)

I remember tidbits of my first trip. I was three, I had a cut on my finger and Minnie kissed it to make it all better!

I wouldn't mind carrying on the torch :write:, with King Triton's blessing of course. I, like so many other Intercotees, love the YO100Q's and am so very sad to see it go. I looked forward to these each and every day. Maybe we could pass the torch, for every set of 100 questions someone new could take the helm. :sail:

King Triton, these 100 questions have truly been a joy. :mickey: I've loved answering them and seeing everyone elses's responses along the way. Thank you again for a wonderful journey. I too am very sad to see it end.
