I know there is a thread on here started for this, but I can't for the life of me can't find it. I was wondering how many of you have them and who did you go about doing it? I just have one of those high yeild savings accounts with ING and just take some money out of every paycheck.

While we do have several accounts thru our credit union, when it comes to vacation savings we just stick money aside in an envelope. We also have a Disney visa and accumulate reward dollar.

We have a separate vacation account at our credit union. It only pays 1.7%. We dump $50 per paycheck into it. That gives us $1200 a year. We have the Disney Reward card that gets us about $30 per month. We also have a higher interest bearing Money Market account that will get us about $100 per month as well.

ING and HSBC both have excellent high yield savings accounts, we use them for vacation savings and it has been great!
