Best things about Saratoga Springs

What are some of the best things that Saratoga Springs has to offer?

What makes it such a great resort?

Any tips for getting the most out of our stay in October?

1. It's close to DTD

2. I don't think it's all that great.

It's HUGE and has brought a lot of people into DVC. My problem with that is that it has made some of the better DVC resorts tough to get into, but I guess that's my fault for not booking between the 7 and 11 month window.

Transportation is a pain at times, I don't like the multiple stops. It's pretty easy to fill up a bus, so you tend to stand a lot. DTD is also not really all that close to many of the park, so it takes a little longer to get places, of course depending on where you are going.

It is new though, and the pool looked big. I don't think it's built to the same quality standards as maybe Boardwalk, or Beach Club.

I don't "love" the resort (and I do own points there!), but it does have some plusses:
1. Size of accomodations
2. Multiple pools - including 2 themed
3. Zero entry pool :diver:
4. Proximity to LBV Golf :golf:
5. Proximity to DTD (great transport from there) :bus:
6. You're at a Disney resort!
7. CM's and interaction from Community Hall at the pool!

Easy to get a place with short notice
Close to DTD
Nice rooms - all relatively new
Bus stops are pretty close to the rooms
