MVMCP Past Dates

Well, it looks like our planned trip is changing once more. It now looks like we will be going over Thanksgiving in 2008. I noticed this year's MVMCP is on the Friday before Thanksgiving. Has this been typical in the past? This would have me move my trip up an additional day just to go to that.
