So, thoughts? Predictions? Snubs?
I'm surprised that 24 wasn't nominated for Best Drama. I'm excited for Heroes and Masi Oka as well. One of the big stories in Emmy news is The Sopranos. 15 nominations! Once again, Lost didn't receive a Best Drama nomination, but I really wasn't surprised. It's third season wasn't as outstanding as the first, when it did when the Emmy for Best Drama. I'm hoping Heroes will win that catergory. I love it when new dramas are actually good and get a following, and after that incredible finale and the episode set in the future, I think it has a good shot.

The 59th Annual Emmy Awards will air September 16th on Fox.

Go Ugly Betty! :clappy:

And I'm disappointed Brothers & Sisters wasn't nominated for the series. I would love to see Rachel Griffiths win though.

Wasn't Rachel Griffiths on Six Feet Under? I've never watched Brothers and Sisters, but my aunt really likes it so I think we'll rent the first season.

As for Best Comedy, although I love ABC and it's productions, I'm going to have to go with The Office instead of Ugly Betty. As for Drama, I've already expressed my love of Heroes. Wasn't impressed with Grey's this year, Bosten Legal just doesn't have that.. thing that sets it a part. I wouldn't be surprised if Sopranos got it considering it just had its last season.

I could go on all day. I'm a sucker for award shows. And TV. I need a new hobby.

:number1:Hooray for THE OFFICE!!!!!:number1:

I am a HUGE fan of The Office and they are getting recognized in so many ways.

Earl is also wonderful and i'm glad that they got a good amount of noms as well.

Drama wise...Grey's Anatomy got a good amount of noms as well. Glad about that. My husband is happy about The Sopranos taking the lead.

Overall... this should be a great show!
