Poly resort garden question

No sure if this is the right thread for this question but, I remember as a little girl staying at the Poly and there was a distinct smell coming from the pathway gardens. Does anyone know what flower gave off that smell?

It could be anything depending on the time of the year. But the gardenias have always given off a strong aroma at the Poly when we have been there.
