When you make a trip to Disney, how long is your typical stay in the Orlando area: 0-3 nights, 4-7 nights, 8-14 nights, 15+ nights?

The review of questions 71-80, along with links to earlier reviews, has been posted and can be found here: Review of Questions 71-80 (http://www.intercot.com/discussion/showthread.php?t=110364)

Y100Q89 is a Theme Park question and will likely be posted on Thursday.

We've only taken 3 trips, biut they've been 8 nights, though last time we went for just 7. None of them seemed long enough really.

We have tried really long trips but have settled on 6 days in the parks. Sometimes we do a day or two just for the resort. Much longer and my kids are too tired to enjoy it.

We'd love to stay all year:cloud9:, but most trips are:) 8-10 nights, some years though vacation time only allows for a 6-7 nighter.:(

We usually arrive late Friday and leave the following Sunday. This gives us 8 or 9 days in the parks! :mickey:

My dbf & I typically go for two weeks, which is how I voted. Though each December the whole family goes for a long weekend (4 days).

We typically stay between 8 to 10 days. As I look at it more is always better when it comes to Disney

We usually do at least 8-10 nights. Our next trip we wanted to book a short trip and the shortest we could get ourselves to do was 7 nights. :)

It depends on how the work and plane schedule works. I normally do from 6-8 nights. I chose 4-7.

Normally, we fall in the 4-7 night range, especially when we come for a pre-Christmas trip. THIS time it's 11 nights...starting in 8 days...WOO-HOO!!!

7 nights. My DW has this "thing" about needing a day after a vacation to unpack, do laundry, etc, etc. So we are Saturday to Saturday vacationers.

As a FL resident, I just take short trips because it only takes a little over 2 hours to get to WDW. I like to take several short trips versus one long trip per year. Keeps the magic going more steady I think. :tink:

We started out with 7-night trips but now we're up to 10 nights and it is just enough, okay, not really enough. We always hate to leave!

8-14 nights for us. Unfortunately we will have to start cutting back after our next trip because DH is advancing in his career, which is great, but he won't be able to get as much time off. We'll still probably do 8 nights once in a while though. Within our annual pass year we will have gone on four trips: 3 nights, 9 nights, 8 nights, and 13 nights. 8-14 nights is great!

The last few times we've been we stayed 3-4 weeks. The long flight from the UK makes a usual two week holiday seem too short, well thats my excuse to DH for a longer holiday.

21 days till we arrive:pixie:

Most trips have been just a week, but I've done at least two that were 10 days.

We typically go for at least 10 nights. Our last trip was 14 nights and this year we are heading down for 11 nights (possibly 12 if we decide to add another night on). We like to have enough time to day a day break here and there. We tend to tour commando style without mid-day breaks so every few days we take a break to the pool or a water park.

With cattle class flights from the UK ranging from about GBP300 to about GBP750 we make a decent stay of it. 2 weeks without exception :cloud9:

Only trouble is, we can only make it next year now

Roll on Sep 2008 :mickey: Free dining anyone ??

P.S. The exchange rate is about 2 to 1 at the moment for those who aren't sure.

Since we live in California and have a three hour time difference, DH and I like to be at the parks for at least 7-10 days at the parks. So we can relax, take our time, and don't feel like we need to "rush" everything.

Since, DH gets itchy to be home after only 2 days (!!!), I feel lucky that I can get a 6-7 night vacation LOL

15 nights! I can't even imagine what I would do with that much time...

or how broke I would be when I got home! :funny:

BTW, I've really been enjoying these polls!

We usally always go for about a week. It never seems long enough- so this trip as a treat we are going for 11 days!

Here we go again...

We always try to do the 5 day week and both weekends to get 9 days out of our trip. We are exhausted going back to work, but who cares? :cloud9:

We've found that the perfect length for us (according to money and days off work) is the Saturday to Sunday trip of 8 nights.

We stay between 8 and 14 nights. Since the MYW tickets came out and it's actually less per day, the longer you stay, we get the full 10 day tickets.

We usually stay 8 nights, I always squeeze in an extra day at a Value before checking into for our week stay at our DVC resort.

We go premium plan every time and 4 days and3 nights about taps us out. We enjoy doing other activities along with the parks and the signature dining gives my wife a chance to try different menus since I'm pretty boring at home. We pretend we're rich for four days and then shoot up to Atlanta for the next four to visit our daughter.

One week is the right amount of time for us to hit all the parks with a couple days to relax in between.

We like at least 8 nights so I can do each park at least twice, however, we are doing two shorter trips this year, a five night and a six night, plus the 11 nights we did in May. Then who knows, maybe two entire weeks next May...We'll have to see what the vacation gods allow us to do.

We're generally 8-nighters. We go early Saturday monring and leave Sunday afternoon. It's the longest trip we can take while still only taking a week off of work or school (unless we left Friday night. Hmmm...).

For pleasure we usually do 8 days/7 nights. Once a year I'm in Orlando for 2 days of business that is usually extended by a day or two to enjoy the area.
