Not really.

I just booked our March 2008 trip at the Grand Floridian. It'll be our 10th Anniversary (honeymoon was at the AS Music) and the first time we will have stayed there.

The CM at Disney Travel Co. informed me they didn't have any standard/garden view rooms available, though. She then quoted several other resorts...but I caved and decided to splurge on the GF lagoon view!!!

Should be pretty sweet :cloud9:. Let the countdown BEGIN!

They may open up rooms to availability as it gets closer to your trip, so you should be able to switch if you want to save some money. The standard/garden views at the GF are all pretty good, but lagoon is special too. We honeymooned at the Grand Floridian and it is our favorite. We're staying lagoon view in August, for our 17th anniversary. Watch for my trip report in early September. :mickey: Congratulations! You're going to love it.

See -- we went the other way. We honeymooned at the Grand Flo as it was our wedding gift from my family. Now that we pay our own way, we are much more apt to head in the All Star Direction -- LOL.

But, how wonderful for you!! That is definitely something to look forward to. There is no resort more perfect to celebrate a honeymoon/anniv!

You can book room only reservations for ANY year now. You have to call back for the updated 2008 price and to add a package if you want...
