Strange cancellation question

My husband booked a room at a special conference rate for Oct. which comes with a special cancellation policy (45 days prior and you still loose one room night)

Here is the problem. I am due on Sept 23rd with #2 and the conference starts Oct 7th.

Does anyone have suggestions how to manage this with Disney? Do you think we can get a CM to put a note int he reservation to allow a different cancellation policy??

Generally they don't alter cancellation policies for various situations. You can call and ask. The worst they can say is "no," right? However, i would strongly suggest you purchase trip insurance which will negate the need for a cancellation policy all together and even save you that one night's room cost.
