YEAH!

Season 2 DVD set will be released August 7. It has Miss Piggy on the cover. It feels like forever since Season 1 came out. I can't wait. My two little ones (4 and 5) LOVE the first season.

It has been forever! Season 1 came out in August 05. At that time the rumor was that they would be coming out 2x a year, much like the Simpsons. Unfortunately we had to wait much longer than anticipated. Henson fans may also be interested to know that Labyrinth and Dark Crystal special edition DVDs have been recently released and Fraggle Rock season 3 comes out in September.

It's time to raise the curtain on the Muppet Show tonight!

Made a mistake earlier. The Dark Crystal Anniversary DVD and Labyrinth Anniversary DVD don't come out till 8/14. There are already versions released but these are the special ones. Also, I believe there is another volume of Old School Sesame St. coming soon. I thought Vol. 1 was great.

I just watched the entire first season in 3 days, and my brain's pretty whacked out because of it...

Anyway, I think I will get it next week, especially since the lovely Bernadette Peters, the great Elton John, and the legendary John Cleese all show up. :D
