Hi Everyone!! All of the Theme Park threads like this one made me make this thread!! Ok, if you could be at any resort in the world where would you be and would you be doing???

I would be at the WL taking in all of the great smells, sounds, and scenes of the lobby!!:cap:

I'd be sitting by Lago Dorado at Coronado Springs with one of Mike's fabulous Sangria's in handwasting time before our ritual first night dinner at 1900 Park Fare!!!

After walking through the lobby of the Poly to get the tropical "smell" I would walk around the resort at night taking in the tiki torches and end at the beach watching Wishes!;)

i am at the boardwalk inn getting a little down time. everyone is taking an afternoon breather back at the room. i make a beverage run, walk around the gardens, enjoy the lounge, check out the shops, stroll around the boardwalk....

or

i am just getting off the ttc monorail for a beautiful night walk through the poly to get to the grand floridian. grab a pizza or burger at gaspy's for a late night dinner and try out all the hammocks and maybe catch wishes from the beach.

I can tell from your location that we're posting from the same area. It's been miserable here with this heat in the Lowcountry. :faint:


I've never stayed at the Poly but I'm really taken by the atmosphere there. I think wishes from the beach would be great.

Two for me! One fake, one real!

Fake one first:

At the front desk of the Grand Floridian checking into my all expenses paid month long trip (talk about a fantasy!!)!

Now the real one:

Sitting in the lobby of the Grand Floridian at dusk listening to the swing band play while I wait for my pager to go off telling me my table at 1900 Park Fare is ready (a first night tradition for us as well!!).

Will be living out scenario #2 (only at the Grand Floridian Cafe because of renovations to the Park Fare)on August 27th!!!! :D

There is nothing like that first step through the door and into the lobby of the Wilderness Lodge. The grandeur of the lobby takes your breath away. Wish I was there now.
