Free parking prior to check-in?

Hello,

We will be arriving at WDW probably early in the morning, prior to check-in time. We plan to meet some friends at one of the parks first thing, before we even go to the hotel (we're staying at the Pop Century). I know resort guests get free parking at all the parks. Is there a way to park for free on the day we check in prior to actually registering at the hotel? Thanks!

Not that I know of - unless, of course, you have an annual pass.

You might want to plan to check in at your resort, get your paperwork, including your car pass, before heading to the park.

Check in first. Even if your room isn't ready, you'll get your parking pass.

Unless you want to pay for your first day of parking, you'll have to check in, as Faline said.

If you do have an AP, you get complimentary parking.

You can check in as early as you get there. You just can't get into your room.

Oh duh! :doh: We DO have AP's and I completely forgot about that benefit. We've never had the AP's before, so I didn't even think of it. Thanks all!

On our last trip we were moving from the Downtown Disney Best Western to the BWV. We went to AK before checking into the BWV. We told the CM at the booth our plans and there was no problem. Have your reservation # ready just in case.:thumbsup:
