I just checked my mail and found the dreaded letter from the College Board about the Advanced Placement exam I took during school for World History. I opened it slowly and saw my score...

It was a 4!!!!! :woohoo: :muscles: :silly:

4 out of 5, that is. And according to the key, 4 means "well qualified". I'm not just "qualified", I'm well qualified.
Of course, it still isn't 5 ("extremely well qualified"), but I'll take what I can get.

Months of studying and having to be away from VMK finally paid off. I've got some college credit under my belt and I can finally relax.

And lucky for me, I get to start the whole process over next year when I take AP US History and AP Literture and Composition.
...that was a sarcastic remark.

Can't wait to see y'all on VMK tonight! :number1:

Yay!

It will be tough work, especially with 2 AP classes, but you will be that much more prepared for college, and that's 3 possible classes you won't have to pay for!

Congrats Zoo! That's at least two classes you don't have to worry about in college, and that's always good.

:mickey:Congratulations!:mickey:

What is Advance Placement there.. a class at a time or a year?

My son took advance placement here in BC for Art and a good score meant he goes into his second year of University for a BA in Fine Arts. Skipping a whole year is a significant savings... Except he decided to go to Film School, sigh.

Advanced Placement for us is a like... an option you can add to a Magic Your Way ticket.

You've got your average high school World History class.
But, wait, you can make it special!
You can make it an Advanced Placement class.
Twice the work, twice the fun!
(Separate fee is required. Some restrictions apply.)
