About how much do the autograph books go for at Disney? I found a store on Ebay that sells them for about $7.99 and up plus $5.99 for shipping. Should I just wait until we get there to purchase these.

I dont recall exactly how much the books were, but i do know it would be cheaper to wait.

Off hand, last year, I think the autograph books ran around 5.99 - 6.99 in the MK.

Definetly wait. I think the price in the parks is less than (or at least about the same as) the ebay price and you won't have to pay for shipping. You can usually buy them at kiosks or the gift shops near the entrance of the parks. They also have the large pens, which are good for the characters.

I agree wait till you get there. You can buy them pretty much anywhere, including your hotel giftshop.

:secret: FYI - I go to Walgreens, Dollar Tree, etc. and pick up a cute little book for my kids for $1-$3 and that has worked great.:secret:

I ussualy wait to we get the parks-- last few years we used our homemade books. I found this year a company on line--- my DD's found the books they wanted, they come with matching pens and carrying cases. They were $8.95 each and $5.00 shipping.

Last time we went we splurged for the books that hold the photos. They are so worth the money. The time before that, we got the kids the less expensive ones and now we can't tell who's signatures are on some of the pages. This time when we got home I printed out appropriate pictures of the kids with each character and over the last two years the kids have gotten them out at least once or twice a month to look at them.

The books are 6.95 at resorts, MK, and all other parks. Why pay shipping when you could use that extra to by a cute pen to go with it?

I would wait and buy them. They aren't that much and they won't get lost in the mail.

I would wait. We went into the gift shop at POR right after checking in to get ours last trip, and will probably do the same at POFQ.

Course, if you're checking in very late, the gift shop might be closed...but you could just hit it in the early am.

It's cheaper to wait until you get to the park. I think they are around $5 - $7 at the parks, with no shipping!

I agree! I have found cute little books with Mickey, Pooh or the princesses at different dollar stores--much cheaper! :mickey:
