Are the Orlando area toll roads on the EZPass system yet? I know they were not two years ago when I was there, but I thought there was discussion that they might...anyone know?

They use SunPass not sure if there is agreement between them and EZPass. You might want to inquire before you leave

1) Most of Florida can use Florida Sun Pass or Florida EZ-Pass.
2) This includes the Orlando area.
3) However, NOT compatible with out-of-state EZ Pass.

NOTE: Florida is not interested in joining the EZ Pass system. If they did, they would lose road revenue from out-of-state visitors. They need the road money. Florida gets HUGE bucks in taxes and fees from visitors, so don't look for this to change, per the state website.

I don't understand how:

1 - It would only apply to those who drive in from the NE the E-Z Pas has to registered to a vehicle.
2 - They get the tolls anyway, how would they loose HUGE amounts of money?
