We were up early and headed to Animal Kingdom. We headed first to the safari via Asia to pick up fast passes for Everest. We waited about 20 minutes for the safari and really enjoyed the ride. We didn't get the Big Red speil. The animals were out and were all very active. We were pleased with the ride. The kids and grandparents headed over to see the Lion King show and Pocohontas. Chris Zack and I headed over to Everest. BUT....It was broke down. So, we took it in stride and headed to dinosaur, which was sporting a 60 minute wait, so we headed to hester and chesters. We waited about 20 minutes for Primeval Whirl and then walked onto the Triceraptop spin. I could hear the screams from Everest, so we grabbed fast passes for the rapids and walked right onto Everest with our passes. We thoroughly enjoyed the quest for the Yeti. I called my mom to tell her that we had been delayed and they were just getting into Pocohontas because the large stage got stuck in the Lion King show and they couldn't get ot out so they were running behind too. It was our time for the rapids so we hopped on and got SOAKED! It was warming up so it felt great. We met up at Pizzafari for lunch and then di Tough to Be a Bug and headed out for the day. We took a dip in the pool and a quick nap and met over at the Grand Floridian for dinner at the Cafe. After dinner, we headed downtown to do some shopping. It was really crowded, but the candy store was virtually empty! We got some treats using our snack credits, and headed home for the night. The kids talked us into doing the pool again.:mickey:
