I just read in the Passporter guide book that a non-moving ride is available on Star Tours for people with motion sickness (like me ). Does anyone know more about this, and have you done it?

1) When you reach the cabs, ask for the non-moving.
2) It is to the Right of all the regular cabs.
3) You get the film, but no motion.
4) Great for
. . . young-ins'
. . . folks with motion sickness
. . . just plain fraidicats

Wow! I never knew that was an option on Star Tours! I've avoided it for years because simulators are sometimes a problem for me and I did feel a tad  riding it the first time. I'll try the motion-free this time!

Great tip! Thanks!

Wow, I didn't know that either. I actually like the motion, but I like to see options for people who don't.

I can't imagine Star Tours without the motion. It doesn't seem like it would be much just watching the movie. :(

This is AWESOME news, as I love Star Wars! Thanks! Now if only Dinosaur also had a non-moving car--ha ha! :mickey:

my dd does this version, but only because of= her age. She was 4 last time we went, this time she is tall enough for the motion version. However, it is choppy (not as bad as body wars) but the motion version might be too much for someone with motion sickness issues. I love it. I little piece of a galaxy far far away!

I didn't even know that was an option! I enjoy the movement, but my DD doesn't, so now I know she has an option to go with out all of the movement!

WOW! Is this true?!:eyes:
I'm a big SW fan, but we don't go on it as we're not fans of the motion
Can't wait to tell my wife, she'll be sooo pleased:sleepin: !!!

Thanks for the post:ewok:

Hmmmm...I've never heard of it, but that certainly doesn't mean they don't have it. Still, the motion is kind of the whole point of a motion simulator...:mickey:

One year I avoided ST because I was pregnant, but I guess pregnant moms could do the non-moving version as well!!
