yeah yeah, i know this is random but still. has anyone sat in the front seat of the monorail with the driver person. i have done it both in the day and at night and if you do it you do it, you get a liscense type thing or at least your kids do. anyways it's fun and do it if you get the chance. the only downfall is that it's cold.:mickey:

We did it on our honeymoon with another couple. The driver/pilot guy whatever was really nice and talked to us the whole time. We didn't get any type of certificate or pin, but it was a great experience I would love to do again.

When we rode in the front with my little nephew, the driver didn't offer a copilots license, we had to ask. It's always fun to have that view too! It's worth the wait.

We have done it many times. I love it during the day, but it is really neat at night. It is definately the best seat on the monorail! We have certificates from the last time we rode. Great scrapbook material!

We ride in the front every time we go to WDW.
I have never found it to be cold. It is fun to sit
up there but at the same time it is a little
scary to see just tracks in front of you and then meeting another train. :mickey:

We sat in the front on our very first monorail ride last trip! The view was fantastic! The driver was a bit of a dud--really had nothing to say, and DD didn't get a certificate, and I didn't know to ask!

But now I have a mission for our next trip!

We love doing this, and have gotten a few licenses without asking. One of the little special things we enjoy...

We sat in the front two years ago and it was awesome. You get a totally different view of WDW from the front car.

We've done it with our DD when she was 2.5. She was so excited. Our pilot gave us all licenses and took our pictures for us too. He was great.

I don't remember it being cold either. Of course it was unseasonably hot for when we were there so if it was cold, it was welcomed.

We can't wait to do it again with our new arrival coming in the next 2 months!

I've had the chance to sit in the front seat of the monorail many times but never ever have received any co pilots license, and I went when I was a little kid, too! It's an amazing view, those pictures are so fun to look at.
