We'll get a little non-Disney on this question, but still stay on Disney property. Of the two, which would you prefer: Swan or Dolphin?

Y100Q70 will show up in DIning, probably on Wednesday.

I guess I would go with the Swan. The decor seems more interesting. I would have a hard time not staying with an all Disney resort though.:mickey:

I can't vote on this one. I've never even considered staying at either one...

While they are both interesting visually, and offer a lot of dining choices and ammenities, I think if I was spending that sort of money, I'd go to WL, AKL, or the Poly instead. If I won a free vacation, and the two options were Swan and Dolphin, having visited both, I'd go with the Swan, though the Dolphin being bigger, might offer better views?

I have also never stayed at either. I would have to go with the look of the dolphin. :mickey:

I've never stayed at either and can't imagine not staying at a Disney resort. That said, going by photos alone, I'd say Dolphin. They seem pretty similar, but I like the looks of the Blue Zoo.

Because of its location and availability, my family stayed at the Dolphin a few years ago for the Food & Wine Festival and we loved it. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms were great, the beds were so amazingly comfortable :cloud9:, and we had an amazing view of the Boardwalk and Epcot! On night we opted to stay in for the night so we got some hotdogs and fries from the little stand at the Boardwalk and brought it back to our room, turned out the lights, opened the curtains, and watched Illuminations! :fworks: It was also fun to sit and watch people go up and down the huge hill on those 4-6 seater bikes you can rent!! It was hilarious! :haha:
Once we got there, we couldn’t even tell it wasn’t a ‘Disney property.’ I’d love to stay there again! :mickey:

I just like the looks of the Swan better.:mickey:

I would go with the Swan based purely on the fact that I've heard (right or wrong) that the Dolphin is all double beds while the Swan are queens.

Haven't stayed at either and probably will never stay at either, but after looking at pictures and reading descriptions of both hotels I would choose Dolphin if I had to make a choice.

My DH stayed at the Dolphin once for a work convention and said it was a very nice hotel with the most comfortable beds inwhich he has ever slept. So my vote will go for Dolphin by default.

I have stayed at both many times and I would definitely choose the Swan over the Dolphin because it is much smaller and more intimate than the Dolphin. Also if I had to pick, for the same amount of money, I'd rather stay at a former Westin than a Sheraton.

DD like Dolphins (actually all fish are dolphins to her right now) so I guess I'd go with the Dolphin. I have to agree I wouldn't stay at either and DH and I are Starwood Prefered guests. Just not Disney enough for us.
