Buddying up w/ fellow Intercoters?

Hello, its Rachael the Newbie again, I was just wondering if anyone ever buddies up with another family from the site to travel to WDW or DL together and if so how did it go?

Just sounded like a neat idea, thought I'd see if it was a common practice outside of the time of year when there is the interot conference or whatever it is called,

Hi Rachael,

Last year, we met with another family (them: 2 parents, 2 children (adults) and grandson) Us( 2 adults 2 children) and we split the fireworks cruise to see Illuminations. We had a great time. We spoke on the phone first and it seemed like our families would click just fine and it did. Not only did we save on a fireworks cruise, but have nice memories of sharing it with a fellow intercotee. :D Right AX? ;)
