June 25, 1967 – A new version of the CircleVision 360 Film, “America the Beautiful,” debuted in Disneyland. The film has been re-shot using the 9-camera CircleVision format, as opposed to the old 11-camera Circarama format. (Closed Jan. 3, 1984, to be followed by American Journeys)

June 25, 1980 – Disney’s live action film “Herbie Goes Bananas,” starring Cloris Leachman, was released in the U.S.

June 25, 2005 – Actor John Fiedler, the voice of Piglet in countless Winnie-the-Pooh movies and TV specials, passed away at age 80.
June 25, 2005 – The Disneyland’s Railroad’s newest locomotive No. 5 Ward Kimball officially went into service. It is named for the late Ward Kimball, Disney animator and railroad fan.
June 25, 2006 – Character Dining returned to Disney-MGM Studios at the Hollywood & Vine Restaurant. Guests can dine with JoJo & Goliath, and June & Leo from the Little Einstiens.
