View Full Version : Air Conditioned Staterooms?

Kind of a weird question here. I'm assuming the ships are air conditioned inside. Are the staterooms individually controlled? We're trying a Category 6 room which has a verandah - so the option of having the door open for a sea breeze is nice. But what about those inside cabins with no door to open? I would hope guests could control the temperature in the room.

Just wondering.

There are AC controls in the cabins, but to tell the truth, I had trouble getting it to work in our Cat 6 (it was FREEZING and I wanted it a bit warmer). I'm sure I could have asked our cabin steward had we been really suffering. ;)

The cabins are individually controlled. As for leaving the verandah doors open, there are signs posted on the doors and verandah requesting you keep the doors closed to help control the temperatures inside the cabin, so they definitely don't encourage you to let the ocean breeze in.
