How long would you say the average, relaxed character meal takes? Specifically at Crystal Palace for dinner?

It all depends how much you eat. :D

From my experience you're typically seated withing 10-15 mins from your actually ADR time. Once seated your waiter/waitress takes your drink order and then you can go up to the buffet. The characters make their rounds pretty quick so we are always able to get pictures with each one, two different times before we finish our meal. On average we spend a little over an hour at character buffets.

I would allow 1.5 hours. You will probably be slightly faster, but that way there's no rush.:mickey:
