We will have 2 choices during our trip. The day we were planning to be in Epcot we would see Neil Patrick Harris and another day we could attend after Animal Kingdom or MGM we would see Steven Curtis Chapman.

We want to dine a Le Cellier so if that is available both days - Any thoughts?

:joy: :clappy: :joy:

Awesome! I think I'm going to try to see him 2 nights if I can. I just LOVE Gary and am so glad he's back this year! (Didn't he skip a year? Last year or the year before?)

YAY!!!!!

We get Kirk Cameron...anyone seen him do this before? How is he?

We saw him last year and thought he was a good narrator and very sincere, since his Christian faith is very important to him. He added a personal message at the end to that effect.

It's a great event, have a wonderful time.:mickey:

We're going to see "Peterman"!!!!

Has John O'Hurley ever done a CP...if so has anyone seen him? I think he has such a great voice for the part.

We have a choice between: John O'Hurley; Dennis Franz; Phylicia Rashad & Steven Curtis Chapman. It would be interesting to see who the TBA for 11/29 - 12/1 is

I'll be calling in our ADR's first thing on July 2nd on our way back home from Lake George (for our 1 year anniversary). We'll be booking for the new Italian restaurant...lets hope it gets great reviews :fingers: .....that's the only place that will have anything on the menu for me to eat!!!!

Looks like we get either the basketball player or John O'Hurley.

My family, (SO unlike me) does not want to make any decisions right now. If I were to make my ADR's for the package in, say, early September, do you think I'll be out of luck?

Oh, now I'm REALLY sad that we had to cancel. The first year we saw CP, Phylicia Raashad was the narrator. It's her voice on the CD, and she was AWESOME! The fact that it was only three months after 9/11 made it even more bonding. After the traditional Hallelujah Chorus, she asked the entire audience to stand and join in singing, Let There Be Peace On Earth. There wasn't a dry eye, and I've got goosebumps remembering.

WOW! I tried to book lunch or dinner for the Tier 1 for our trip and they didn't have anything available. Now I'm having to decide whether to spend the extra $ or just pray we get decent seats without ressies. What do you guys think? What are the chances of getting good seats? If we don't do the dining, how early do you think we should get there? Ughh...

WonderlandsMostWanted
07-03-2007, 12:33 AM
You'll cut out a lot of stress having the reserved seats. My dad was telling me that last year he and his friends went down on a few occasions and waited to try to get seats and were never able to. If it's very important to you to have reasonably good seats you may want to invest in the dinner package. I recommend the Teppenyaki place at the Japan Pavilion (which is right next the theater.) It's a unique experience and the food has always been wonderful when I've gone.

Best luck to you either way!

We forgot that we could call for the CP package yesterday.:bang: How could I forget?
Anyway, I called today and was able to secure a CP package for December 3rd, the only downside is that we now have ADR's at Le Cellier for 3:40 pm, that was the latest available for the 6:45 pm show. I may make a few calls as we get closer and maybe get a better time.

On the Disney site they have Neil Patrick Harris listed as Nov. 28 - Dec. 1. It is marked as open for Dec. 11-13th. I guess they do change things sometimes - I sure hope the rest don't change!!

That kind of ticks me off. After a lot of consideration went into deciding what night we wanted to attend, they go and change the narrator. We have reservations for the 13th. Now, do I try and get ADRs for another performance night or do I just hope that they come up with someone that I have heard of? What do you think the chances of Mario Lopez being there again this year are. I would so LOVE to see him.

We got our package today! :santa3:

12/15 at Teppan Edo. 4:15 dinner and 6:45 show. We have TBA right now...hoping for someone good! We may also try to get seats for our last night, 12/17, so we can hear it again. Kirk Cameron is narrating that night.

How are the diffrent Tier's set up as far as seating goes?

How are the diffrent Tier's set up as far as seating goes?

The tiers only have to do with the level of the restaurant and have no bearing on seating at the show at all.

Bethis26fan

OK, so how does the seating work?

OK, so how does the seating work?

Everyone that has the Candlelight Processional package gets in one line, everyone that does not gets in another. Then, they fill the theater sort of haphazardly.

The first time we used the package, we were near the top of the theater, but had a good view. The second time, I was much closer to the front, but had an obstructed view.
